The Scott PodsedCast – Episode 5

As Zac T was off saving puppies from house fires around the greater Los Angeles area, Will and I braved the comforts of our own homes to deliver this week’s PodsedCast right to your ears. Since we are short-staffed we thought we should break from the usual format and go into further detail about Total Base Value and Next Base Value. If you are interested in what we are doing with these statistics, aren’t sick of us or think we are hysterically awful (though that might be the best reason to listen), and would like to know more in regards to how we get the formulas, what they all mean, and why they’re so important, then this is the podcast just for you. We assure all two of you, you won’t regret it. Enjoy.

If you’d like to follow along, remember to visit our write-ups about Next Base Value, Total Base Value and the leaders from last season. Also, in the top menu, you can find the all time leaders. In the coming weeks, these will continue to be update to show the leaders throughout history.

00:05 – Please excuse the nasally, tired, whiny New York-accented intro. The podcast can only get better from here, folks, I promise.

03:39 – Will Templin has the voice of an angel and when he talks about numbers it really sings. Also known as the part about Next Base Value.

23:51 – We talk about complete packages, big bodies, and stuff like that. Also known as Total Base Value.
